Krug x Fish 2018

To celebrate our longstanding partnership with one of the most prestigious Champagne brands, Purnell’s has teamed up with Krug Champagne to host an evening at the restaurant on Wednesday 19 September.

Krug Ambassadors since 2011, one of only twelve in the UK, Purnell’s have given our guests the experience and opportunity of trying their Cuvée by the glass.
Every year Krug selects an ingredient as a focus to pair alongside their Champagnes and this year the emphasis is on Fish.
Music is also a huge influence for the house of Krug:
“Krug creates music in bottles, Champagnes that each play a distinct composition, offering true pleasure to their audience. At Krug, we would like to invite people to discover our Champagnes differently. We wish to take tasting to another dimension, the dimension of sound, where music plays a key role.”
Music for this special occasion will come from the sound of Devialet, which is recognised as one of the most prestigious speaker producers in the world.

Glynn and the Purnell’s team will be pairing canapés and a five-course menu to compliment the following Champagnes:

Krug, Clos du Mesnil 2003 (served from Magnum)
Krug, Rosé 21st Edition
Krug, Vintage 2004
Krug, Grande Cuvée 166th Edition
Krug, Grande Cuvée 160th Edition (served from Jeroboam)

Tickets for this event are extremely limited and are priced at £275 per person.
