Following the success of last year’s event, which raised over £60,000, Cure Leukaemia has announced that Glynn Purnell’s Friday Night Kitchen will return for 2017 with bigger ambitions than ever before.
The celebrated event, now in its third year, is raising the bar for 2017 by making the move to The Vox at Resorts World Birmingham. This sees the Friday night fundraiser increase its capacity from 400 to 800, in an ambitious attempt to raise over £100,000 for its £1m Centre for Clinical Haematology Appeal.
Fronted by Glynn, the event features a four-course, five-star dinner created by the TV chef. Throughout the night, Glynn brings a host of his celebrity friends to the stage to help serve up a feast to remember.
Speaking about the event, Glynn, who is a Trustee of Cure Leukaemia, said: “Glynn Purnell’s Friday Night Kitchen gets bigger and better each year, thanks to the calibre of our celebrity chefs and most of all, our fantastic guests! There is such a great buzz in the room, and everyone comes together to have fun whilst raising money for Cure Leukaemia, a Birmingham-based charity that I am immensely proud to support.”
Taking place on Friday 6 October 2017, Glynn Purnell’s Friday Night Kitchen has become a flagship fundraiser for Cure Leukaemia; highlighting the work that the charity does and helping to raise vital funds.
Tickets for Glynn Purnell’s Friday Night Kitchen are now on sale, with a special early bird price of £165 in place until 19 May, following which tickets will increase to £175. Tables of 10 are available to purchase and every ticket includes reception drinks, a four-course meal prepared by Glynn, and raffle tickets to win Sunday lunch for up to six people cooked in your home by Glynn and the team from Purnell’s… they even do the washing up!
